Creamy Rice With Peas And Mushrooms

Ingredients

- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup zesty italian dressing
- 1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 cups quick-cooking rice, uncooked
- 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook and stir onion in dressing in large saucepan on medium-high heat for 2 minutes or until tender.
- 2 add mushrooms; cook 2 to 3 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender.
- 3 add broth and peas; stir.
- 4 bring to boil.
