Creamy Rice With Peas And Mushrooms

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup zesty italian dressing
  • 1 (8 ounce) package fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups quick-cooking rice, uncooked
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 cook and stir onion in dressing in large saucepan on medium-high heat for 2 minutes or until tender.
  • 2 add mushrooms; cook 2 to 3 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender.
  • 3 add broth and peas; stir.
