Chicken And Italian Sausage Bake

Ingredients

• Servings: 4
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1/2 cup celery (chopped)
• 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
• 2 italian sausages (sliced)
• 425 g cream of mushroom soup
• 2 chicken breasts (cooked and cubed)
• 2 cups wild rice, i prefer to use a package of uncle ben's fast and fancy (cooked)
• 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

• 1 heat the olive oil in a large skillet. saute celery and onion until soft, about 5-7 minutes. add sausage to skillet and continue cooking until sausage is cooked through.
• 2 add cream of mushroom soup and stir and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes.
• 3 place the chicken in a casserole dish evenly. next, layer the sausage mixture over it. then top with the wild rice.
• 4 bake in a 375 degree oven for 15 minutes.
• 5 sprinkle the parmesan on top and continue baking for the final 5 minutes. enjoy!
