Baked Spaghetti

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 6 ounces grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb ground chuck or 1 lb ground round
  • 1/2 lb bulk sausage
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (3 ounce) can mushrooms (i use fresh and cook with meat) (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon italian spices
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 cook spaghetti according to pkg directions; drain.
  • 2 place in lightly greased 8x8-inch baking dish; top with grated cheese.
  • 3 in dutch oven, brown meat, onion, and garlic until meat is cooked, stirring to crumble; drain.
  • 4 stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, worcestershire, mushrooms, and seasonings; simmer 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • 5 pour over spaghetti, spreading evenly.
  • 6 cover tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  • 7 bake uncovered at 350° for 25-30 minutes.
  • 8 recipe is easily doubled.
