Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

- 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
- 6 ounces grated cheddar cheese
- 1 lb ground chuck or 1 lb ground round
- 1/2 lb bulk sausage
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (3 ounce) can mushrooms (i use fresh and cook with meat) (optional)
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon italian spices
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
Recipe
- 1 cook spaghetti according to pkg directions; drain.
- 2 place in lightly greased 8x8-inch baking dish; top with grated cheese.
- 3 in dutch oven, brown meat, onion, and garlic until meat is cooked, stirring to crumble; drain.
- 4 stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, worcestershire, mushrooms, and seasonings; simmer 5 minutes, stirring often.
- 5 pour over spaghetti, spreading evenly.
- 6 cover tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight.
- 7 bake uncovered at 350° for 25-30 minutes.
- 8 recipe is easily doubled.
