Bolognese

Total Time: 2 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (20 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 lb italian sausage
  • 3 cups zucchini, shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups carrots, shredded
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 cook, on low heat, all ingredients for 2 hours.
  • 2 serve over pasta.
  • 3 top with fresh parmesan.
