Cheesy Chops And Potatoes (crock Pot)

Ingredients

- 4 lamb tenderloin steaks
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried italian herb seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
Recipe
- 1 trim excess fat from chops.
- 2 in a small bowl, mix italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- 3 sprinkle half of the herb mixture onto chops and rub inches
- 4 in a large skillet over med-high heat, brown both sides of the chops in hot oil; set aside.
- 5 reduce heat to low.
- 6 pour off excess drippings from skillet.
- 7 add soups and water, stirring to loosen browned bits on bottom of skillet; set aside.
- 8 meanwhile peel potatoes.
- 9 slice into a large bowl.
- 10 add onion and remaining herb mixture, tossing to coat well.
- 11 spread on bottom of crock pot.
- 12 cover with lamb chops.
- 13 evenly pour soup mixture over potatoes.
- 14 cook on low 8 - 9 hours.
