Cheesy Chops And Potatoes (crock Pot)

Total Time: 8 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 lamb tenderloin steaks
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried italian herb seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

Recipe

  • 1 trim excess fat from chops.
  • 2 in a small bowl, mix italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • 3 sprinkle half of the herb mixture onto chops and rub inches
  • 4 in a large skillet over med-high heat, brown both sides of the chops in hot oil; set aside.
  • 5 reduce heat to low.
  • 6 pour off excess drippings from skillet.
  • 7 add soups and water, stirring to loosen browned bits on bottom of skillet; set aside.
  • 8 meanwhile peel potatoes.
  • 9 slice into a large bowl.
  • 10 add onion and remaining herb mixture, tossing to coat well.
  • 11 spread on bottom of crock pot.
  • 12 cover with lamb chops.
  • 13 evenly pour soup mixture over potatoes.
  • 14 cook on low 8 - 9 hours.
