Bolognese Sauce

Total Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 italian sausages, casings removed
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 stalk celery, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves, chopped fine
  • 8 ounces chicken broth
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomato puree or 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, pureed in blender
  • 1 cup wine (red or , whichever you prefer)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Recipe

  • 1 place meat, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic in pan over medium heat, and cook until meat is no longer raw, but don't brown it.
  • 2 drain off fat, and add milk.
  • 3 boil until liquid is gone, about ten minutes.
