Chicken Carbonara

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 300 g chicken
  • 500 g fettuccine or 500 g spaghetti
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • bacon, chopped (optional)
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • parsley, finely chopped
  • parmesan cheese, extra

Recipe

  • 1 fill a large saucepan with water and place on heat.
  • 2 once water is boiling add a pinch of salt, pasta and cook according to packet instructions until aldente.
  • 3 drain well under hot water.
  • 4 heat a medium saucepan over heat.
  • 5 cook bacon until crisp.
  • 6 drain on paper towels.
  • 7 cook chicken over a medium heat until golden brown.
  • 8 place bacon back in with chicken.
  • 9 add tin of soup and half a tin of water to chicken.
  • 10 simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • 11 to serve, place pasta onto serving plates.
  • 12 top with chicken mixture, parsley and the extra parmesan cheese.
  • 13 enjoy.
