Broccoli, Sausage And Pasta Ears

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb orecchiette (pasta ears) or 1 lb bow tie pasta
- 2 lbs broccoli, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 lb sweet italian sausage link, sliced into bite sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 -3 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 bring a large pot of water to boil and add pasta.
- 2 meanwhile heat olive oil over medium high heat and quickly cook the sausage.
- 3 add the broccoli, garlic, butter and chicken broth.
- 4 bring to a boil, reduce to medium high and cook uncovered for 5 minutes, reducing sauce.
- 5 drain pasta and pour into a serving bowl.
- 6 add the broccoli mixture and cheese, tossing well.
- 7 serve.
