Chicken And Spaghetti Dinner

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 fryer, skinned and cut into 8 pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced mixed mushrooms (porcini, portobello, )
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced onions
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced green peppers
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 8 ounces cooked spaghetti
  • freshly grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 heat the oil and butter in a large skillet.
  • 3 sprinkle the chicken pieces with garlic salt and pepper.
  • 4 brown the chicken over medium heat, and transfer to a 13 x 9 baking dish.
  • 5 in the same skillet, saute the mushrooms, onions, peppers, and celery, until tender, about 7 minutes.
  • 6 stir in the sauce, and heat for 5 minutes.
  • 7 pour over the chicken, and bake for 30 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink.
  • 8 serve over the spaghetti, sprinkle with parmesan.
