Easy Weeknight Lasagna- The Best!

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (16 ounce) box lasagna noodles (barilla no boil sheets)
  • 3 cups ricotta cheese (depending on how heavy you like it)
  • 1 cup shredded parmigiano
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce (1 jar)
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • 2 add garlic.
  • 3 add ground beef and italian seasoning.
  • 4 cook until browned and crumbly.
  • 5 add sauce to skillet, mix with beef and continue cooking until combined.
  • 6 in a mixing bowl- mix ricotta cheese and parmigiana cheese- set aside.
  • 7 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 8 grease a 9 x 9 square pan ( or what ever you have).
  • 9 spread layer of meat sauce on bottom.
  • 10 next layer of barilla lasagna sheets- single layer.
  • 11 next layer meat sauce.
  • 12 next layer of ricotta cheese mix.
  • 13 sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  • 14 repeat until all used up making top layer mozzarella cheese.
  • 15 cover with aluminum foil( do not forget to cover).
  • 16 cook for 30 minutes.
  • 17 uncover and cook for 10 minutes more until bubbly.
