Ed's Meat Penne

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 16 ounces penne rigate
- 1 medium onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 (4 1/4 ounce) can chopped black olives
- 2 cups parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
Recipe
- 1 start 4 qt of water boiling in large pot (6 qt or bigger).
- 2 in 4.5qt pot over medium heat.
- 3 combine tomatos, sauce, drained mushrooms and olives.
- 4 chop onion and garlic. brown the meat with the onion and garlic. season with chili powder and italian seasoning.
- 5 start the pasta once the water is boiling.
- 6 stir the cheese into the sauce, the stir in the meat. keep in med-low heat until pasta is done.
- 7 drain pasta and immediately combine pasta and sauce back in the large pot the pasta was cooked inches.
