Asparagus, Oven-roasted

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 tablespoon lite olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 1/2 lbs asparagus, washed, tough stems removed
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (good quality)
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup course grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Recipe
- 1 heat an oven proof pan (about 10") in a hot oven for 5 minutes.
- 2 pour in the oil& italian seasoning.
- 3 coat the whole pan.
- 4 roll the asparagus in the oil to coat all sides.
- 5 bake in 400f degrees oven for 5-7 min do not over cook!
- 6 the asparagus should just be heated through but still very crisp.
- 7 remove from oven, drizzle with the vinegar.
- 8 add salt& pepper.
- 9 sprinkle with parmesan (if desired).
- 10 serve immediately or serve at room temperature.
