Basmati Italiano

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 cups basmati rice, cooked according to package instructions ( or brown)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon dry basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 -2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 (4 ounce) can black olives, sliced, drained
  • 3/4 cup sun-dried tomato, rehydrated andchopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 cook rice.
  • 2 put cooked basmati into large mixing bowl.
  • 3 toss hot rice with remaining ingredients using wooden spoons to avoid breaking grains. serve immediately.
