Egg Noodles

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 whole egg
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 3 teaspoons cold water

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl combine flour and salt.
  • 2 make a well.
  • 3 mix together the wet ingredients and pour into well.
  • 4 mix well.
  • 5 turn out onto a floured board and knead until firm, shiny and elastic.
  • 6 at this point cover and chill for 1 hour, up to 24 hours.
  • 7 when ready to use follow instructions for manual pasta machine or cut into manageable pieces and roll out to desired thickness, cut into desired shape.
