Bruschetta Topped With Tomatoes And Capers

Ingredients
- 12 slices italian bread, sliced 1/2 inch thick (baguette)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped (1 1/2 cups)
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, leaved
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons small capers, drained
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
- 2 place bread slices on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 3 drizzle 1 teaspoon oil on each slice bread. bake about 8 minutes or until golden brown.
- 4 while bread is toasting, mix remaining ingredients.
- 5 spoon tomato mixture onto bread slices.
- 6 serve at at room temperature.
