Broccoli Rabe

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb broccoli rabe
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe

  • 1 wash broccoli rabe and remove thick stems.
  • 2 add olive oil to 2 quart pot and heat.
  • 3 add garlic and let cook 1 minute.
  • 4 add broccoli rabe and salt and cover.
  • 5 cook 10 minutes, stiring often.
  • 6 serve with 1/4 lemon, the juice offsets the bitter taste of the greens.
