Crock Pot Italian Sausage Hoagies

Total Time: 4 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 10 uncooked italian sausages
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 (26 ounce) jar meatless spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 medium green pepper, julienned
  • 1/2 medium sweet red pepper, julienned
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup grated romano cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 10 hoagie rolls

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet over medium-high heat, brown sausage in oil and drain.
  • 2 transfer to crock pot.
  • 3 add the spaghetti sauce, peppers, water, cheese, oregano and basil.
  • 4 cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until sausage is no longer pink.
  • 5 fill each hoagie roll with sausage, peppers and sauce.
