Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 4 boneless chicken breasts, cut in half
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can undrained stewed tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 1/2 lb spaghetti
Recipe
- 1 heat butter in skillet over medium high heat.
- 2 add chicken.
- 3 saute' 3 minutes on each side.
- 4 remove chicken.
- 5 drain all but 2-3 tbs of drippings.
- 6 add garlic, onion, and bell pepper to skillet.
- 7 saute' until tender, about 4 minutes.
- 8 add undrained tomatoes, broth, and italian seasoning.
- 9 return chicken to skillet.
- 10 cover and simmer for 25 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
- 11 bring large pot of water to a boil.
- 12 cook pasta according to directions and drain well.
- 13 place pasta in large serving bowl and spoon sauce and chicken over top.
- 14 serve.
