Ceci Ragu

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients except salt and pepper in a large saucepan (2 qt minimum).
  • 2 bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 reduce ragu to desired consistence.
  • 4 season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 serve with brown rice or pasta.
