Cheesy Biscuit Lasagne

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 10 canned pilsbury refrigerated biscuits (refrigerated section)
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 brown beef and drain.
  • 3 add 1 1/2 cups water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, italian seasoning and pepper. cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  • 4 combine mozzarella, cottage cheese, parsley & onion.
  • 5 press each biscuit into 4" circles.
  • 6 place 2 tbsp cheese mixture on each biscuit.
  • 7 fold over and press edges toether with fork to seal.
  • 8 pour meat mixture into ungreased 9x13" baking dish.
  • 9 top with cheese filled biscuits.
  • 10 sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • 11 bake for 20-25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
