Cheesy Baked Ziti

Ingredients

- 16 ounces ziti pasta, penne or 16 ounces any short cut pasta
- 1 lb hot italian sausage
- 8 ounces pepperoni slices, halved
- 28 ounces of your favorite spaghetti sauce (my favorite for this is ragu tomato mozzerella)
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 2 cups italian cheese blend
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 bring a pan of water to a boil, add the italian sausage and cook 15 minutes or until cooked through. transfer to a cutting board to cool.
- 3 meanwhile, bring a large pasta pot of water to a boil. salt the water and add pasta, cooking per the directions on the box. drain.
- 4 slice the sausage in half lengthwise and then again into half-moons.
- 5 pour the pasta into a 13x9 inch pan and top with the sauce. add the sausage and pepperoni, stir to combine.
- 6 sprinkle with the italian seasoning and place into oven. bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until sauce is bubbly and meat is heated through.
- 7 sprinkle cheese on the top and place back into the oven for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
