Big Sandwich

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 unsliced round loaf italian bread (8 inches)
  • 5 -6 slices cooked beef (thin slices)
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 6 -8 slices cooked ham (thin slices)
  • 6 -8 slices fully cooked turkey (thin slices)
  • 4 slices swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices cooked bacon
  • 7 slices american cheese
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish (optional)
  • 1 -2 roasted sweet peppers (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 slice bread horizontally 3 times into 4 equal layers.
  • 2 bottom layer- spread with mayonnaise or horseradish.
  • 3 arrange raost beef on bread.
  • 4 add american cheese.
  • 5 top with onions.
  • 6 add next slice of bread.
  • 7 middle layer- arrange turkey on bread.
  • 8 add american cheese.
  • 9 spread mustard on cheese.
  • 10 add tomato.
  • 11 top with bacon.
  • 12 add next slice of bread.
  • 13 top layer- spread mayonnaise on bread.
  • 14 arrange ham on bread.
  • 15 add swiss cheese.
  • 16 top with pepper or tomato.
  • 17 add top slice of bread.
  • 18 combine margarine, sesame seeds, and onion salt; brush over top and sides of loaf.
  • 19 place on baking sheet; loosely tent heavy-duty foil.
  • 20 bake at 400f for 15-20 minutes or until heated through.
