Crock Pot Sausage Pasta Stew

Ingredients

- 1 lb italian sausage, casings removed
- 4 cups water
- 1 (26 ounce) jar meatless spaghetti sauce
- 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 medium carrots, cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1 medium red pepper, diced
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked spiral pasta
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 in a nonstick skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. drain and place in a crockpot.
- 2 add water, spaghetti sauce, beans, carrots, red pepper and onion and mix.
- 3 cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or until vegetables are tender.
- 4 stir in the pasta, peas, sugar, salt and pepper and mix.
- 5 cover and cook on high for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is tender.
