Black Beans And Rice

Ingredients

- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (30 ounce) can black beans, undrained
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 dash mixed italian herbs
- 1 dash herbes de provence
- 2 tablespoons wine or 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in a large pan, add the onion, pepper, and garlic and cooking until it's clear, about 5 minutes.
- 2 add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 3 bring to a boil, stirring everyone once in a while.
- 4 reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook for at least 5-10 minutes, or until it reaches the consistency you desire.
- 5 serve with rice, or use it as an ingredient in a burrito, it's great either way.
